Time is Flying By!

I don't think I have ever been so aware of time. It seems like just yesterday that Aniyah was being born and now she is 6 weeks old.
She's no longer a newborn; as a matter of fact she has outgrown newborn clothing and has moved up to wearing 3 months. We've gotten quite close and being a mom cannot be described in words. You hear people say that you don't know love until you have children and that is so true. I am absolutely in love with my daughter in a way I never thought I could love another human being. I am truly truly blessed.
On another note, I have decided to continue with my doctorate work. I will retake the comprehensive exam on June 19. I am in the midst of making corrections and submitting my revisions. Hopefully I will be better prepared this time around. At the rate I am going who knows when I will graduate. BUT it's not how fast the race is run, it is about finishing!
