Bridal Shower

Today I was so excited to spend some time with family and friends at my bridal shower. It was held at Pottery By Me. We had the opportunity to paint and create pieces of pottery and even more spend some quality time laughing and just enjoying each other's company. I am very blessed to have a wonderful group of friends. My maid of honor who lives in Atlanta, along with my other bridesmaids planned and hosted a wonderful event. It was absolutely awesome and I had a great time.
I am very very lucky to have a such great women in my life.

6 Months Update

RJ is 6 months and growing so fast. He is eating rice cereal and some fruits and vegetables. And, he is beginning to crawl. His backward movement is awesome; he hasn't quite figure out he can go forward:)

Sibling Love

We consider our family very blessed to have the childcare provider that we have. She is great to our kids and she goes above and beyond to share with us what goes on throughout the day. We have no doubt that Gabbie and RJ are happy there. We got these pictures today.....just priceless!

Happy Easter

This weekend was a busy Easter celebration. On Friday, Gabbie had her Easter party at daycare and she loved it and hanging out with her friends. On Saturday, we colored and decorated eggs. In some cases, Gabbie's designs were better than her daddy's, LOL. And today, we headed to church and ended our day at Nana and PawPaws for a great meal and our final easter egg hunt. Gabbie is actually very good at looking for eggs and takes it very seriously:)
All in all we had a great weekend and now we head off to prepare for tomorrow as we head back to work and daycare...ugh!

The Movies

Today Gabbie had her first movie experience with her "NaNa" and "PawPaw." They took her to see The Lorax and she had a wonderful time. Her dad and I were unsure if she would sit through the whole thing but her grandparents gave it a try.
She got home and told us all about the movie and all the popcorn she ate;) she loved it! And even more, she enjoys hanging out with her grandparents. She's getting old enough now that she asks to call them and asks to go over to their house. She is quite the "Miss Independent." I don't know if that is good or bad yet but she is taking more initiative;)

Dental Visit

Today Gabbie had her first dental visit. I was very nervous before we got there just because I did not know how she was going to deal with the new surroundings and equipment. To soften the blow, we put on her new Justin Bieber t-shirt...I will take any distraction and we headed to the dentist.
When we arrived, they had a large fish tank and she loves looking at fish. This was a plus for the place. then we entered and the dental assistant did an awesome job. It was obvious this was not her first time dealing with 3 year olds. All in all, she did a wonderful job getting her teeth checked and cleaned. We especially me survived the visit. And I think she will not cringe at the thought of going to the dentist from here on out.
