The NFL Experience

Today we ventured off to Family Day at the NFL Experience. Although we were both sad the Colts and Cowboys aren't playing, we decided we needed to take in the fun. It was well worth the money spent. We spent 3 hours there and could have easily stayed another couple of hours. Everyone had a good time. Gabbie and I took a picture in front of the Ware's Cowboy locker and Richard could not pass up doing the "Tebow" pose in front of his locker, LOL!

3 Months Old

RJ is just growing up...He's 3 months old today.

All About Me Presentations

We consider ourselves very lucky to have the childcare provider that we have. She works diligently with Gabbie and the other children to get them ready for "big school." They get homework on Tuesdays that is due on Friday. The last homework involved working on an All About Me presentation and collage. I was very proud of Gabbie and she did most of it herself. I must admit I was very tempted to do it myself and get letters and stickers but as a teacher I don't want to become "that parent!"
She did a wonderful job; we were very proud.

Engagement Pictures

This weekend we took our engagement pictures....It was nice to get them out of the way. And we had fun taking the pictures. We are 5 months away from the wedding and the planning is right on schedule. June 16th will be here before we know it!

Church Etiquette

This morning we headed to mass and we had a "moment." Here is some background information. Richard and I really like the comedian Kevin Hart. He does a Ford commercial and is just really funny. Now Richard has taken it upon himself to say one of Kevin Hart's line which is "Alright, Alrigght, Alrighhhhhttttt!" Gabbie has repeated every now and then when she hears her daddy say it. Well today, we are in church and during a quiet prayer time, what does our daughter do....she yells out, "Alright, Alrigght, Alrighhhtttt!" Are you kidding me?!!! Part of me was embarrassed and the other part could not contain my laughter. Man do we need to work on our church etiquette.

2 month checkup

We headed to the 2 month check up today. RJ weighs 14pounds and has grown a couple of inches. There is an issue with his breathing and we are going to try soy mild to see if that takes care of the problem. Then at the end of the visit, the dreaded shots came his way. He started crying before he even got a shot; it was as if he knew what was coming. Needless to say, he was not a happy little man. 4 shots is hard to take for anyone much less a baby. It took awhile to gather himself but eventually we made it out of the doctor's office....poor thing:(
We go back next month with no shots; I am sure RJ is relieved! I know I am.
