This week has proven to be one of the most difficult in my educational career. As an educator you never think that you may ever lose a student. This week reminded me that you should never take a day for granted; life can be taken away in an instant no matter how old or young you are. God has his plans and whether we agree or not, the plan always moves forward. The understanding may come now or later but it always comes, and with it comes healing, too.
On a positive note, I was able to watch my former volleyball team play. The girls were very excited to see me and Gabbi and I was thrilled to see them. Seeing them made me realize just how much I miss them and my good friend, Beth. We spent alot of years together and I miss that time, with her and the girls. But the girls are just fine....and so am I. Time goes on and priorities definitely change. Although I love and miss those girls, I am happy with where I am. And unfortunately for them, my new school beat them in 4! Darn it!
Its friday and this 3 day weekend is over due! Gabbi had a ball at the volleyball match but she was overstimulated and she's been trying to catch up ever since. Hopefully we can get some rest this weekend! we deserve it:)
