I thought I would start this journal to help my family and friends stay intuned with the last 8 weeks of my pregnancy. Somehow 11 years ago, I moved to Indiana leaving all of my family behind in Texas. Now more than ever, I wish I were closer to home. But for now, we will bridge the gap of distance through the blog.
Yes, it is official...at 39....I am expecting my 1st child. Honestly, I was shocked and even more shocked to have a viable pregnancy, since I have had issues in the past.
Nonetheless, here I am at 32 weeks, getting bigger and anxiously waiting for the next 8 weeks to fly by. So far, all has gone well. I have had a mired of tests to check the baby's health and thankfully all the tests have come back fine. My last ultrasound was at 28 weeks. I have a doctor's appt tomorrow so we will see if there are any changes.

I just want to say that I am so happy for you. I wish that you were here so we could see you go through all this with us here in Texas. A'Niyah Gabrielle.....that's beautiful. Did you check with Grandma to see if she can pronounce that? LOL. Well I guess if she can say Zeya, then she can say just about anything. I'm glad you started this blog. Great Idea.
