Relay for Life

Today Aniyah and I will be participating in the Relay for Life walk. Our building has a Math teacher with terminal cancer. Through his ongoing battle, he refuses to stop working. Everyday he comes into the building even if its to straighten and organize textbooks. I am in awe of his strength. So today we will walk from 4 - 4:30 then I am going back tomorrow morning and walking from 6am - 8am. The two hour walk will be in honor of my grandfathers who both battled cancer. Two hours of walking seems so minimal compared to what they endured and how honorably they fought. Today like everyday I honor my grandfathers for their love and guidance. Their memories live on through the lives of their families and I look forward to sharing all those memories with Aniyah.
