Breastfeeding for Dummies

Aniyah and I had another appt today with the lactician and no she is still not latching. So, we will quit trying and I will pump and bottle feed her. The lactician said she had established "aversion" from the breast, meaning that she doesnt associate it with a good thing, being that she can never really feed from there. Who what have thought all this, aversion, what the heck? Anyway, so to not stress my daughter out, Lord forbid, we will no longer try to get her to latch on, which is just fine with me. I will pump until I go back to work in May and then we will go to all formula. Everything else is going very well. She gets her longest sleeping stretch through the night so it has been ok. All in all we are getting into a routine of things and I am getting comfortable being a mom:)
